About The Author

Milena Palminteri was born in Palermo, lives in Salerno, and has two adult children. She has worked all her life as a curator in the notary archives. In 2024, she published her debut novel, Come l’arancio amaro, which became an extraordinary bestseller thanks to word of mouth among readers and the quality of her writing recognized by critics and literary awards, including the Premio Bancarella, where it triumphed in 2025. Come l’arancio amaro has been translated into eighteen languages.
