Dark, unexplored spaces enthralled her, and her insatiable curiosity toward human behavior led to decades of exploring the dark side of the human psyche. She is noted for analyzing the hidden patterns within dark fairy tales, blending psychology with the symbolic forms found in film, fairy tales, and forensics. Melissa’s doctoral studies are rooted in traditional Jungian shadow work, and she is a certified death investigator.
