He has appeared in a wide range of acclaimed series, including Department Q, Guilt, Line of Duty (reprising his role as DCI Mike Dryden in the new series 7), Shetland, Unforgotten (For which he won a BAFTA Scotland award), Catastrophe, Doctor Who and Psychoville.
