She lives in Vancouver, where she is earning her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia. Maaike is co-editor of Christian Courier, an independent Canadian news publication, and the publisher of A Broken Tulip on Substack. Pin Bones is her debut poetry collection.
