  • NEW YORK TIMES AND INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR, BRADLEY TREVOR GRIEVE

  • 1839’s 2024 WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR, GEERT WEGGEN

A new gift book by New York Times bestselling humorist and Animal Planet star, Bradley Trevor Greive, whose Blue Day Book series attracted 30 million readers. Featuring stunning original color images of red squirrels by award-winning nature photographer, Geert Weggen, this hilarious and adorable book is the perfect antidote to the overwhelming madness of this modern life. “If life doesn’t drive you nuts, you’re not doing it right.”

The book’s witty and spirited ‘narrator’ is a twenty-thirty-something squirrel who, having left home to share a small mushroom studio apartment with a noisy roommate, addresses everyday challenges of new adulthood that readers know all too well; housing affordability and income disparity, managing frustration and stress, resisting negative social pressure in the ‘age of dishonesty,’ managing physical and mental health, ignoring badly-aged advice about work and purpose, embracing failure, persistence, resilience and renewal, and above all, using your own ‘crazy’ to forge your own path.

  • A fresh perspective on the pitfalls of modern life

  • Delivers belly laughs while championing mental health, well-being, and purpose

  • Cute and funny full-color squirrel photographs
  • Appeals to new adult readers (ages 18–25), animal lovers, and makes an ideal gift for home‑leavers and graduates.

Give someone you love a dose of squirrel-wisdom and laughter—the antidote for our crazy times.

About The Author

Since the debut of his international bestseller The Blue Day Book, Bradley Trevor Greive has become a household name in more than 115 countries. A former Australian paratrooper, BTG left the army to pursue more creative misadventures.
