About The Author

String artist Kayla Carlson is a lifelong Michigander who is always busy creating new and unique works of art. For the last several years, she has been advancing her string art skills, designing fresh patterns, and challenging herself with larger and more complex pieces. She loves sharing her passion for her art with others and teaches string art classes to scout troops, school art classes, and groups of friends, as well as at parties. A full-time Registered Radiologic Technologist, Kayla is married with two children. Spending time with her family is her favorite pastime, whether it be camping, sledding in the snow, or fishing on the river.
