About The Book

The M&A Strategy That Turns Culture Into Competitive Advantage

Most acquisitions fail to deliver lasting value—not because of the deal, but because of what happens after. In G.A.L.E. Force, global M&A operator J. Michael Coffey shows how to execute cross-border growth by aligning global strategy with local culture.

Drawing on decades of firsthand experience, Coffey shares a proven framework for leading multicultural teams, scaling platforms, and avoiding the common pitfalls that derail integrations. Built for CEOs, operators, and private equity professionals, this book brings real-world insight to the high-stakes world of global mergers.

You’ll learn how to:
  • Lead successful integrations across borders and cultures
  • Build trust with local teams while maintaining global consistency
  • Navigate post-merger complexity in heavy industry and beyond
  • Avoid costly missteps in decentralized execution
  • Scale high-performance operations across diverse markets

Whether you're building a multinational platform or integrating your first acquisition, G.A.L.E. Force delivers the clarity and tools to turn cultural complexity into global momentum.
