About The Author

Martín Caparrós was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1957. Since then, he has lived in four countries, and has travelled through more than sixty. He first left his homeland at 18 when he was forced out because of his political affiliation. For more than 25 years, Caparrós has worked as a journalist for print, radio, and television. He has published seven novels, five travel narrations, a biography, a three-volume history of the guerrilla in Argentina, and has translated Shakespeare.
