About The Book

… as you wonder and marvel and grow,
There are some things in life that I hope you will know …

So begins a love letter from an unnamed narrator to their dearest one. Rhyming couplets peppered with metaphor offer readers thirteen heart-felt and admirable credos, together presenting a guide for a life well lived.

These collected words of wisdom express the narrator’s deepest wishes for their cherished one as they step into their future, perhaps most importantly that they are loved unconditionally.

This joyfully illustrated and artfully designed package may be shared with a loved one of any age to complement life's milestone moments and holidays. I Hope You Will Know is perfect for:

  • Birthday gifts
  • Graduation celebrations
  • Baby showers
  • Valentine's Day

Or simply as a reminder that "I will always love you."

About The Author

Having lived in Southern California, Portugal, and Cape Verde, Africa, Jaren Ahlmann now lives in the far-away land of Orem, Utah, with his wife and his four self-proclaimed "biggest fans"... aka his kids. He loves to: play soccer and scrabble, vacay with his family at the beach, and eat tacos and sprinkled donuts. He wishes he could: fly like the Tooth Fairy, play the piano, and hire a full-time chef to cook all his meals. He does not like: long car drives, pulling weeds, and losing in any type of game. Flight of the Tooth Fairy is Jaren’s first children’s book. Visit him online at and on his instagram account: @jarenahlmann

Raves and Reviews

Olczyk’s textured, light-filled artwork flows indoors and out, focusing on figures portrayed with varying abilities and skin tones. Across sunny, bucolic settings, a gaggle of boisterous children sporting colorful slickers jump in puddles, while others encounter natural landscapes and interact playfully. The loving reassurance and sentiment on display provide readers with their own cheering section as they venture forth.
