Fuddles

About The Book

Fuddles is a fat, lazy housecat who's never been in the Great Outdoors. But he dreams of scaling mountains and defeating ferocious foe and he knows in his heart-of-hearts that he is, in fact, a great adventurer.

Then, one day, his humans leave the door open a crack and Fuddles seizes the chance to slip out. But, now that he's finally outside in the Great Outdoors, Fuddles discovers that things are not quite as he expected. After a series of hilarious mishaps, being laughed at and chased by the neighbourhood dog, Fuddles realises he misses his family and that life as he'd known it was actually pretty good!

Frans Vischer's charming, witty picture book debut shows that the grass may not always be greener on the other side.
