Bill Ricquier is a lawyer and cricket person, born and raised in England, who has practised and taught law in Singapore and England for over 30 years. Born in Hampshire, England into a cricket loving family, he still has vivid memories of his first visit to the County Ground, Southampton as an eight-year-old. His first cricket book, co-authored with his brother and a friend, was Hampshire: 100 Greats. This was followed by The Indian Masters and The Pakistani Masters, each of which was published in England and India. Bill Ricquier is a cricket historian and cricket blog writer for From The Pavilion End, which focuses on current cricketing events, but also explores the game's rich history, often using current events as a peg to examine cricketers and matches of the past. www.billpavilionend.com
