Suggested Terms and Conditions for use in

1.           This competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over excluding employees of Simon & Schuster UK Ltd and Conway Stewart or its affiliated companies, their immediate families or anyone professionally associated with this competition draw and their immediate families. Only one entry per person is allowed.

2.             To enter this competition, entrants must complete the entry form at www.simonandschuster.co.uk and answer the multiple-choice question.

3.             The closing date for receipt of entry forms is 31st December 2010 (“Closing Date”).

4.              The winner will be the first correct answer chosen at random on 10th January 2011 under the supervision of an independent observer. 

5.             The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

6.             The winner shall be notified by email by 14th January 2011

7.             The prize is a limited edition Michael Jecks pen, a bottle of ink and a signed copy of a short story published for the first time with this pen.

8.             The prize is as stated and is non-transferable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

9.             To obtain the name of the winner and the judges, please send an email to amanda.shipp@simonandschuster.co.uk with “The Oath Competition” in the subject heading within one (1) month of the closing date.

10.         By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions [and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material,] which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter.
