Author Revealed

Q. Which living person do you most admire?

A. Probably Joan Didion. Her essay "Goodbye To All That" continues to change my life every time I read it. She's a true writer and someone who has stayed the course even through so much tragedy. I respect and admire her greatly.

Q. If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be?

A. Any version of cheese and tomatoes. Caprese salad, Greek salad, pizza....

Q. Who is your favorite fictional villain?

A. Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights. He was so tortured by his love for Catherine!

Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?

A. Paris! Always Paris, although New York isn't half bad, either.
