She grew up in Texas in a newspaper family, which explains her love of writing, but she earned a law degree and practiced law before making the decision to write full time. A. I don't really identify with either one of them, as I share few traits with them, but I always was drawn to Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots.

A. I never thought I would say this, but I admire Elizabeth Taylor. She's weathered a lot of unhappiness and seems to have maintained her balance and she's done a great deal of good with her work on behalf of AIDS patients.

A. people pontificating on a subject they don't know anything about
